INSIGHT MODE: New July 9, 2018 with White Box 3.0
Each “insight” is given ONE sentiment.
Guest comments (“mentions”) may contain zero, one, or many insights. Insights is designed to tease out the nuance of guest feedback. Each sentiment word is not necessarily an insight. Insights are considered topics identified within sentences of the comment. An insight can have multiple sentiment words associated to it within the sentence.
Three sentiments are possible for each insight:
These sentiments are determined based upon Natural Language Processing - NLP (keywords, phrases, and modifiers)
Each guest comment (“mention”) is given ONE sentiment based on the star rating of the review.
A guest comment is a tweet, a review, a post, a caption, or a reply on a social or review site.
Three sentiments are possible for each mention: (STAR RATING)
1. Positive (4 or 5 star review)
2. Neutral (3 star review)
3. Negative (1 or 2 star review)
If the guest comment is from a social platform that does not have a star rating associated with it, such as Twitter, Instagram, etc., then we use our Natural Language Processing - NLP (keywords, phrases, and modifiers) to determine sentiment; listening for key sentiment words and phrases.
