Because some social and review site data is public, Guest Intelligence is able to gather data for the specific restaurants you have chosen as your competitors. Competitors are named during the onboarding process and can be added at any time or updated upon your annual renewal.
To view a competitor’s data pulled in by the platform, do the following:
In the top right of your screen, you will see your brand name with your logo lit up. Next to your logo will be the logos of your competitors.
Click on the competitor you would like to analyze.
Once you have selected a competitor, dashboards containing public social and review site data will be available to you for analysis. Dashboards include: “Guest Satisfaction”, “Brand Alerts”, “Custom Classification”, “Platform”, and “Sentiment” data that has been pulled in for their brand as well as their “Wheel”. All of this is found under the “Dashboard” menu on the left.
- You can also view the specific mentions of your competitor and the mentions’ specific classifications by selecting the “Detail” menu option on the left.
